Trees for a Cause

Trees for a Cause is a special fundraising event created to help purchase food for families living within the Wapakoneta School District. Each year, the cost of food continues to rise, and so does the budget needed to provide holiday boxes for local families.

This event brings our community together to ensure that every family has food on their table during the Christmas season, and you can be part of it. By donating a decorated Christmas tree or placing a bid, you’re not just adding beauty to the season, you’re helping a neighbor in need.

Join us in making a difference. Together, we can brighten homes, fill tables, and share the true spirit of Christmas.

Silent Auction

This year, Christmas Jubilee will be partnering with six businesses or individuals who wish to donate a decorated tree, or a wreath, for our Silent Auction: Trees for a Cause. The trees/wreaths will need to be completed and on display from October 27 through November 15 at the local businesses. When the auction closes, the highest bidder will be contacted and will pick up their winning tree directly from the business to enjoy in their home or workplace.

Photos of the trees/wreaths will be shared on the Christmas Jubilee website and on social media, but all bids must be placed in person at the business displaying the tree. Bidders will fill out a card with their contact information and place it into a secure box to protect their privacy. At the close of the auction, the business will open the box, find the winning bidder, and reach out to arrange pick-up.

As with all silent auctions, participants may return during the week to increase their bid if someone outbids them. Christmas Jubilee will not be managing the trees/wreaths or deliveries, the responsibility for transportation of tree/wreaths goes to the winner of the item.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser goes directly toward purchasing food for families in the Wapakoneta School District who need help during the holiday season.
